A paper roll saw is a machine that uses serrated blades to cut paper rolls, changing their width, much like sawing a tree.. YYS Machinery produces two types of paper roll saws: circular saws and band saws.
1. Quickly cutting off damaged portions of paper rolls caused by water damage, fire, insect infestation, or damage during transportation.
2. Rapidly changing the width of paper rolls, at a speed 3-5 times faster than conventional slitting and rewinding machines. Ideal for large-scale factories and paper dealers.
3. An unnecessary rewinding process may alter the paper tension on the roll, which is detrimental to subsequent use.
Our machines can cut various types of packaging and printing paper, including kraft paper, coated paper, offset paper, thermal paper, and more.
Compared to similar products in the industry, YYS’ paper roll saws produce smoother cuts, especially the band saw series. Please see the related videos and pictures.
YYS’s circular saw has an 11mm loss per cut, while the band saw has a 2mm loss.
The cutting life of a saw blade is related to the diameter/GSM of the jumbo roll. When the saw teeth become dull, they can be sharpened and reused.
