The 2015 IndiaCorr Expo took place in New Delhi from October 6 to 8, showcasing the latest global innovations in corrugated equipment and technologies.

This marked YYS’s debut at an international trade show. During the three-day event:

2015 IndiaCorr Expo Overview

The 2015 IndiaCorr Expo, held from October 6 to 8 at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida, New Delhi, was a pivotal event for India’s corrugated packaging industry. Organized by the Indian Corrugated Case Manufacturers Association (ICCMA) and supported by Beijing Zhongzhan Huateng International Exhibition Co., Ltd., the exhibition focused on advancing corrugated manufacturing technologies and fostering trade partnerships.

Key Highlights:

  1. Exhibition Scope:
    • Featured paper zone displays for corrugated machinery solutions, including advanced equipment like corrugators, printing machines, and die-cutters.
    • Highlighted innovations in automation and cost-effective production lines, addressing India’s growing demand for high-quality packaging amid rapid market expansion.
  2. Market Context:
    • India’s packaging industry had over 10,000 small-to-medium box factories, but only 500 utilized fully automated equipment by 2015, revealing significant growth potential.
    • Chinese machinery gained traction due to its cost-effectiveness, particularly in automated production lines and post-press equipment.
  3. Visitor Engagement:
    • Attracted 29,807 visitors and 47,299 attendances over 3.5 days, reflecting a 65% increase compared to 2013.
    • Concurrent events like the ICCMA Congress 2015 drew 350+ industry representatives to discuss trends and challenges.
  4. Global Participation:
    • Exhibitors showcased solutions tailored to India’s regional needs, such as flexographic printing for food packaging and energy-efficient corrugators.

The expo solidified its role as a bridge between global suppliers and India’s booming packaging sector, emphasizing automation and sustainable practices to meet evolving market demands.
